Nabors Drilling has been in the contract drilling business in
Canada since 1952 and in that time has become the industry leader in drilling deep sour gas wells. Through strategic purchases as well as new construction, Nabors now boasts the most up-to-date fleet of "modern style telescoping doubles" and newer, faster-moving electric and mechanical triples.
Nabors markets 86 drilling rigs across
Canada ranging in depth capability from 1,000 to 7,000 metres. The rig fleet is comprised of 3 singles, 36 doubles and 49 triples 9 coil rigs. This fleet includes 12 new generation PACE™ rigs, AC-powered rigs plus 9 coil tubing hybrid rigs and 4 heli-portable drilling rigs that can drill up to 4500 meters. At present, 26 of the company's rigs are supplied with top drives, and additional top drives are available from Canrig, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nabors Industries.
Additionally, Nabors Drilling maintains an inventory of items not commonly carried by most drilling contractors.
