Safety
The management of Nabors Canada is committed to a program that will provide a safe working environment in which employees may work without fear of an accident.

Nabors Canada is also committed to protecting the environment and to maintaining the highest standards in public health and safety at all operating locations in order to help protect the quality of the Canadian environment for future generations.

We strongly believe that a safe work environment contributes to efficiency, job satisfaction and profitability. Nabors Canada takes pride in providing the training and tools necessary for our employees to take ownership of their safety and the safety of those around them.

We freely share our safety results with others, regardless of the statistics. Our goal of continuous improvement requires the input of all stakeholders. Through our involvement in broad industry initiatives, associations and programs, Nabors strives to create a strong culture that makes safety a priority.

We are so committed to the betterment of our industry that we have provided a working service rig to the Atlantic Petroleum Training College in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Northern Lights College in Fort St. John, British Columbia to train new workers for Nabors and the industry at large.

Our safety management systems are certified under audit by the Alberta Government, Department of Labour, Partnerships in Safety Program.
We use a full-time training rig to orient new employees and upgrade existing employees. It's also available for producing companies to orient office staff and for other industry training services to train rig workers.

Our commitment to comprehensive prescreening of new workers and the continuing education of all employees enables us to provide our customers with well-qualified employees who have a clear understanding of expectations.
